A friend and I were recently discussing relationships and work experience and this is something we'll cover in more detail later but today we looked at the job he's about to leave.
He said, the one thing that bothered him about leaving this job that he hates is the possibility that someone could come in and do it better.
I suppose that's the thing that upsets me about the end of each of my relationships but what I said to him helped me as well. It's not that they're going to be better or worse, they're likely just going to be different. And if different works better for them then you were in the wrong place anyway and this is just the thing that set you on your own better path.
